Kranai Island
Kranai Island is home to the beautiful, traditional stone-built Tower of Tzanetakis Grigorakis, which now serves as the Historical and Ethnological Museum of Mani, as well as the island's lighthouse, standing 23 meters tall and built in 1873.

The girls' school
In the city center stand the Girls' School, built in 1886, and the Town Hall, built in 1891, both designed by architect Ziller. The Town Hall now houses the Archaeological Museum.

The church of All Saints
At the top of Akoumaros mountain stands the Church of All Saints, offering panoramic views across the Laconian Bay.

The Archaeological Museum
The Archaeological Museum, housed in the Town Hall, holds collections from the ancient town of Gythion and the Laconian Mani, as well as a collection of inscriptions relating to the political and social history of the area during Roman rule.

The Ancient Theatre of Gytheio
The Ancient Theatre of Gytheio stands at the northern edge of the city, with the acropolis of "Paleopolis" to the west of the theater, in the northeastern part of modern Gythio.
