Near Gythio
Mavrovouni
Gythio's most famous beach, just 2 km south of the town. A 5-kilometer stretch of sandy coastline, also known as a nesting ground for the loggerhead sea turtle.

Glyfada Beach (Shipwreck)
At Valtaki-Glyfada lies the iconic wreck of the "Dimitrios," a ship that ran aground here in the 1980s and remains a landmark for visitors and photographers to this day.

Vathi & Kamares
The bay of Kato Vathi is home to Kamares beach, a long sandy shore reached via a road lined with olive and eucalyptus trees.

Skoutari
About 15 km from Gythio, Skoutari offers three consecutive beaches: sandy Kalamia, Vorthona, and pebbled Agia Varvara, named after the small Byzantine chapel nearby.

In Deep Mani

Limeni
Perhaps Mani's most photographed beach, with a unique blend of turquoise and deep blue water in a small bay near Areopoli.

A small, striking cove in Deep Mani, with pebbles and emerald waters reminiscent of Limeni.

One of the most beautiful beaches in Mani, where the region's rugged, rocky landscape contrasts strikingly with emerald waters.
